Birthday Parties
Candle parties are a flat rate of $145.00 per party for up to six guests paid at the time of booking. Party fee is non-refundable, but if you need to cancel your party, we would be happy to apply the party fee towards other in-store purchases.
For your $145 fee, your party guests get to make one candle
each, with a total of six (6) candles. Each
additional guest is $14.00. Party attendants choose from any
candle up to $18.00 in value. Parties last 1-1/2 to 2 hrs.
Each guest receives three (3) select specialty pieces for
their candles
Make your own soaps are discounted to $5.00 each for each
guest as an added option
Party goers get a private table and can bring cake and
non-alcoholic beverages-we provide the cups, plates, forks,
candles for cakes, and cleanup afterwards. No pizza or
other hot food is allowed.
Each guest will get a complimentary rapid cooling for their
candles so that they can take them home at the end of the
party
Birthday person gets a complimentary heart candle made by
the party guests (everyone contributes to making the candle)
and a free message in a bottle signed by everyone.
Wine Parties
Wine parties are private events that must be booked a minimum of five days in advance. There is a $50.00 non-refundable booking fee for the party, and a minimum of a ten candle requirement.
Since we close the store for wine parties, we limit wine parties to Monday - Saturdays from 6pm-close only.
Wine parties are limited to two hours
in length and we provide you with openers, glasses,
napkins and plates. You bring your wine of choice,
snacks are ok too.
Wine party guests receive free rapid cooling of
their candles as long as candles are completed no
later than one hour before closing. This allows you
to take your candle home that day; otherwise,
candles can be picked up the next day.
Non Profit Youth Groups
Waxen Art proudly offers a 20% discount to nonprofit youth groups, such as Girl and Boy Scouts, church youth groups, etc. In order to receive the 20% discount, the youth events must be booked weekdays only with a ten (10) candle minimum. Make your own soaps are also discounted to $5.00 a bar.
The discounts extend to any adults that come with the youth group members at the same time of the event.
